Manjaro community officially announces the release of Manjaro 0.8.11 Xfce with new features and updated applications. Well the community just provided sneak preview of upcoming stable Manjaro 0.8.11 Xfce distro. Few days ago, after the release of Manjaro 0.8.10 the team is actively opens the doors for development of next Manjaro 0.8.11 release and now community release the first preview of their upcoming Manjaro release.

According to official announcement, the community state that the upcoming Manajro 0.8.11 Xfce will include Calamares, a graphical installer which is not ready still in development. Teo is the lead developer for Calamares which might be included in next release. Also, review recent Linux Distro releases.

The recent released sneak preview of Manjaro 0.8.11 is basically taken from the unstable branch which mainly includes linux314, latest proprietary drivers and bunch of latest upstream packages. The developers also fixes some of the issues related with automatic partitioning. The team completely focus on Calamares, due to which they are not planning to include any new features in upcoming release. Apart from this, the team is also planning to include Manjaro Settings Manager which will be completed by Ramon. This manager installs media ships with MSM 0.1.7 but 0.1.9 version is already on our unstable branch ready for installation.
