How to Install LiVES 2.2.5 (Video Editor) via PPA on Ubuntu Variants & Linux Mint
LiVES is a famous Video Editing Software and VJ tool which is available various Linux Distros. It mixes real time video performance and non-linear editing in one professional quality application. It is quite flexible tool used by both professional VJ's and video editors.

Step Wise Installation of LiVES 2.2.5 (Video Editor) using PPA Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Linux Mint and other PPA based Linux Distros.
Step 1 : First open the terminal and run or copy the following command in terminal to add PPA for LiVES 2.2.5 on your PPA based Linux Distros.
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1/lives
Step 2 : Next, run or copy the following command in terminal to update recently added PPA of LiVES 2.2.5 in the software repository on your PPA based Linux Distros.
$ sudo apt-get update
Step 3 : Finally, run or copy the following command in terminal to install latest stable LiVES 2.2.5 on your PPA based Linux Distros.
$ sudo apt-get install lives
After installation, search for "LiVES" either in Unity Dash or in Application. Launch the application and edit your favorite personal videos with the help of LiVES video editor.
