HandyLinux 1.6.1 released with Skype 4.3, exFAT-utils & exFAT-fuse Support


HandyLinux development team officially announces the release of HandyLinux 1.6.1 with new and updated applications. As you know that last month HandyLinux 1.6 version was release but there was a issue was raised about Skype 4.3 which didn't compatible with Skype 4.2. The HandyLinux is a simple distro which is based on Debian and has Xfce desktop environment.

According to official announcement, HandyLinux 1.6.1 comes with updated Skype 4.3 which is now compatible with earlier version. It includes support for exFAT-utils and exFAT-fuse packages along with addition of plugin selector keyboard xfce4-xkb-plugin. Among other updates, HandyLinux 1.6.1 also includes passage aspell/myspell to hunspell and overhaul of build process to resolve the bug of autoremove and metapackages. It provides suppression of belonging to sudo for additional users. Some of the Debian packages such as cups, openssl and linux-image are also updated in this release.
