GNOME Shell 3.14 Beta 2 released with Gestures & Animation Support, Few Fixes
GNOME community officially announces the release of GNOME Shell 3.13.91 which is the second beta release of upcoming GNOME Shell 3.14 stable release. This release includes few new additions along with minor bug fixes. GNOME Shell considered as the heart of GNOME Desktop because it provides user interface of functions used for development of Desktop.
According to official announcement, GNOME Shell 3.14 Beta 2 comes with support for gestures to summon message tray. This release also includes animations like animate opening the app picker and improve app folder animations along with animate app icons on launching a new window.
Some of the new translations added in this release and some translations are updated. It also accepts scrolls/swipes either way on the screen shield. Apart from these new features, it also includes various miscellaneous bug fixes like fixed keynav into session menu on login screen.
