FX Movie Manager team officially announces the release of FXMovie Manager 6.6 with several new features along with minor bug fixes. Like other Movie Editors, FXMovie Manager allows its users to manage movie files and video clips.

According to official announcement, FXMovie Manager 6.6 comes with new "Water" theme along with improved code which is modified according to last version of FOX-1.7. You can set the system audio volume and then change it during playback for internal SDL player by using amixer if present. The latest menubar contains almost full keyboard controls.

The main highlighted feature of this release is that it provides keyboard shortcuts. For internal SDL player, the video screen resize functions using keys o (original size), v(vertical increase), h(horizontal increase), b(bigger size ), g(smaller size) have been changed and now relay on SDL, keys c(vertical decrease), j(horizontal decrease) have been added, the selected videoclips can now be played consecutively and without any interruption after giving confirmation: for each videoclip, or for each selected list of videoclips, or forever until program closure.

Apart from these new changes, it also includes minor fixes like fixed customized directories icons have been restored. The help dialog and manual page have been updated.
