Firefox 35 now available for Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04 LTS & Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Canonical officially announces the release of Mozilla Firefox 35 Web Browser update for Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 12.04 along with other variants including Kubuntu 14.10, 14.04, Xubuntu 14.10, 14.04, Lubuntu 14.10, 14.04 and Linux Mint 17. All you have to do is to update your system and it will automatically update the Firefox version to Firefox 35.
With the new version update of Firefox, the Ubuntu team already pushed this updated firefox version to repositories of all Ubuntu variants, so users can directly get the updated version of Firefox on their system. The Bobby Holley discovered some DOM objects with certain properties can bypass XrayWrappers in some circumstances.
The new Firefox 35 web browser is primarily includes few improvements along with minor security fixes. If a user were tricked into opening a specially crafted website, an attacker could potentially exploit this to bypass security restrictions.
